Operational clarity in a noisy landscape.

The stablecoin ecosystem moves fast. Information often doesn’t. RailVerity separates each claim from the evidence supporting it.

  • A ticker is not an identity. “OUSD” also identifies the separate Origin Dollar asset.
  • Listings can precede verification. Canonical issuer addresses must come first.
  • Partner status is not binary. Listed, exploring, and integrated are different claims.
  • Critical facts change. Issuer, contract, reserve, and redemption details need history.

Revision v1

A method designed for correction.

Source-first

Issuer publications, regulatory records, chain documentation, contract registries, and signed technical material take precedence.

Identity beyond the ticker

Assets are identified by issuer, network or chain ID, and contract or mint address.

Timestamped and change-aware

Every material claim records when it was checked, when it became effective, and how it changed.

Transparent

Methods, criteria, sources, and corrections remain published and traceable.

Conservative by design

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Critical transitions require human review.

Evidence, not market noise.

Developers

Confirm asset identity before contracts, mints, or token metadata enter production.

Payments & operations

Track changes across settlement routes, networks, redemption, and dependencies.

Risk & treasury

Keep dated issuer, reserve, governance, licence, and contract evidence.

The short answers, with the important caveats.

Facts are dated because the underlying rail is still developing.

What is RailVerity?

RailVerity is an independent evidence and change-intelligence service for stablecoin infrastructure. It tracks claims, canonical asset identity, sources, verification dates, and material changes. It is not an exchange, wallet, issuer, or token seller.

Is Open USD live?

Based on public sources reviewed on 12 July 2026, Open USD was announced for later in 2026 but was not yet publicly verifiable as live. Open Standard had not published official contract or mint addresses. Check the dated status record because this can change.

Is RailVerity affiliated with Open Standard?

No. RailVerity is an independent service by Not Angry Software. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Open Standard.

How does RailVerity identify an official asset?

RailVerity matches the issuer, network or chain ID, and contract or mint address against canonical primary sources. A ticker, token name, logo, exchange listing, or social-media post is not sufficient on its own.

Why is the OUSD ticker ambiguous?

Origin Dollar is a separate stablecoin that has used the OUSD ticker since 2020. The new Open USD announcement also uses OUSD. RailVerity therefore never identifies either asset by ticker alone.

Is this the OpenUSD 3D standard?

No. OpenUSD is also the name of the Universal Scene Description technology promoted by the Alliance for OpenUSD. That project is unrelated to the Open USD stablecoin.
